Small movement habits that support a stronger recovery
Simple, repeatable choices can make rehabilitation easier to maintain between appointments.
Recovery is built through consistent movement, not one perfect workout. Short walks, gentle mobility exercises and regular changes of position can help your body stay comfortable between physiotherapy appointments.
Choose one habit that fits naturally into your day. You might complete your prescribed exercises after breakfast, take a brief walk at lunch or set a reminder to stand and stretch during a long period of desk work. Start with a manageable amount and build gradually as your confidence improves.
If an exercise causes sharp pain, unusual swelling or symptoms that do not settle, stop and speak with your physiotherapist. Your program should be challenging enough to support progress while remaining appropriate for your current stage of recovery.
